Innovation trends: impact on development of financial sector

Modern financial institutions are undergoing significant transformations driven by innovative technologies. This article examines current trends in financial innovations and their impact on the operations of banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions. The research focuses on the digitalization of financial services (FinTech), the application of artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, new customer service models (mobile banking, online insurance), and risk management strategies. The study reviews the works of leading scholars who analyze the transformation of traditional financial services through digitalization and develop conceptual models, such as the “Digital Finance Cube.” The role of financial innovations in supporting economic growth and enhancing the competitiveness of companies is highlighted. The global experience in implementing financial technologies and their potential adaptation in Ukraine, considering regulatory barriers, is also examined. The research methodology is based on the analysis of scientific literature, statistical data, and applied studies in financial technologies. Special attention is given to the impact of digital tools on financial accessibility, particularly in the context of martial law in Ukraine. The study explores the role of blockchain, crowdfunding, and mobile financial services in addressing economic challenges and improving financial inclusion. The findings emphasize the necessity of further digital transformation in the financial sector, the expansion of financial technologies, and the development of innovative strategies to ensure the stability and efficiency of financial institutions.
Розвиток глобального ринку штучного інтелекту та його вплив на вищу освіту

Не зважаючи на те, що термін «штучний інтелект» (АІ) фактично був введений у 1956 році Д. Маккарті, у контексті створення машини, здатної міркувати та імітувати людський інтелект, сучасна ера його стрімкого проникнення в усі сфери життєдіяльності починається з появи у 2018 році Chat GPT. Якщо світовий ринок АІ у 2020 році становив 93,27 млрд дол. США, то у 2024 році – 184,05 млрд дол. США. За прогнозами у 2030 році ринок АІ досягне 826,76 млрд дол. США, а у 2032 році перевершить 1 трлн дол. США. McKinsey визначила 2024 рік роком, коли організації стали отримувати цінність, вигоду від використання та масштабування технологій АІ, у т. ч. завдяки зниженню витрат і зростанню дохідності бізнес-процесів. Усе більше організацій (3/4) визнає, що АІ приведе до кардинальних або руйнівних змін у галузі у найближчі роки. При цьому все виваженіше вони стали розуміти ризики, пов’язані з АІ, і найкращі нові практики щодо їх зниження.
Dynamics of international tourism in the world economy: sustainability of development under conditions of uncertainty, overcoming global challenges and new trends

The Covid-19 pandemic posed an unprecedented challenge to the global economy, delivering a severe blow to the international tourism sector. Across the world, including countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East, pandemic-related restrictions, border closures, and quarantine measures led to a sharp decline in tourist flows and significant economic losses. In 2020, global tourism experienced a drop of over 70% compared to previous years, threatening the survival of millions of jobs and businesses dependent on the tourism sector. The aim of this article is to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war on international tourism at a global level, as well as to examine recovery measures for the tourism industry and new trends that emerged in response to the challenges of the pandemic. The research will help identify key factors that contributed to both the decline and gradual recovery of the tourism sector in different regions of the world. This analysis is important not only for understanding the economic consequences of the pandemic but also for developing new approaches to fostering sustainable and safe tourism in the face of global challenges. Studying these changes will help better prepare for potential future crises and adapt the tourism sector to new realities, ensuring resilience and safety for all industry stakeholders.
Інноваційний потенціал як чинник зростання та конкурентоспроможності національної економіки: аналіз, оцінка та перспективи розвитку

У статті розглядається інноваційний потенціал як чинники розвитку національної економіки України. Визначено його виключну роль у забезпеченні економічного зростання та підвищенні конкурентоспроможності, що доведено на основі економіко-математичного моделювання та прогнозування. Акцент зроблено на значенні створення сприятливого середовища для інноваційної діяльності. Наголошується на необхідності ефективної державної політики, що сприятиме розвитку цілісної інноваційної екосистеми. Запропоновано загальні підходи до формування стратегії стимулювання інновацій в контексті повоєнного відновлення України. Значна увага приділена розбудові інноваційного потенціалу. Визначено, що сталий економічний розвиток можливий лише за умови інклюзії інновацій та їх активного впровадження, ефективного використання інвестиційних ресурсів та підтримки високотехнологічних секторів. Представлено концепцію індустріальних парків, як одного з інструментів ефективного економічного повоєнного відновлення.
International tourism logistics: the role of air and maritime transport in shaping global trends and accessibility

The article analyzes the complex relationship between air and maritime logistics and the development of international tourism. The author analyzes statistical data, including the volume of global air and sea traffic, the number of passengers, and annual growth rates with forecasts up to 2028. The author reveals the trends of steady growth in air and cruise traffic observed before the COVID-19 pandemic, which coincided with the expansion of global tourism. In 2020, the pandemic led to a sharp decline in both passenger demand and transportation operations, which revealed the vulnerability of both sectors. At the same time, the study demonstrates their ability to recover quickly in 2021–2023, thanks to the easing of travel restrictions, the resumption of tourist activity, and the expansion of cruise and ferry operations. The importance of well-developed logistics and transportation networks to ensure the accessibility of tourist destination is identified. Key airports, as well as strategically located seaports, act as important hubs that facilitate the organization of global passenger flows. At the same time, managing the infrastructure and capacity of these centers is crucial to ensure the growth of transportation and maintain efficient logistics systems in the tourism sector. Further growth in air and sea transportation is predicted. The author emphasizes the need for systematic investment in the development of airport and port infrastructure, the digitalization of processes, and the implementation of sustainable practices to meet the growing needs of passengers and ensure the long-term viability of both sectors. It is summarized that the interdependence of aviation and maritime logistics with international tourism is key to the further development and growth of the global tourism industry. It is proven that efficient logistics systems contribute to increasing the accessibility of tourist destinations, while innovation and infrastructure development ensure the stable long-term development of the industry.
Risk assessment and risk analysis for production activities under the conditions of martial state

The article is devoted to the problem of determining the military risks characteristics and the development of mathematical formalization methods to identify at the initial stage signs of an increase in the level of risks. In the research process, the following was applied: a comparative analysis to identify the indirect influence of war risks on other risks; analytical method for identifying features of military risks; methods of mathematical formalization to detect at the initial stage aperiodic fluctuations of time series of risk parameters for timely hazard forecasting. Specific features of military risks are determined. A complex mathematical approach is proposed to identify signs of an increase in the risks level at the initial stage of their formation in order to ensure the flexibility of production activities management, increase the adaptability of the enterprise to threats, and acquire the ability of the enterprise to survive. Mathematical formalization methods are proposed for detecting aperiodic harmonic fluctuations of a time series, as a manifestation of risk, and forecasting production activity in conditions of significant uncertainty of the risks parameters. The proposed mathematical formalization approaches will make it possible to detect signs of an increase in the level of risks at the initial stage of their formation to ensure flexibility in the production activities management.
Digitization process in a changing global environment

This article aims to analyze modern technologies' impact on business process management approaches in the context of digitization and innovative management. Drawing on an extensive literature review, the study explores key themes such as the role of digital technologies in transforming traditional business practices, fostering innovation, and addressing market demands. The problem under investigation centers on the evolving nature of business process management in response to rapid technological advancements and the need for innovative strategies. The research is guided by the hypothesis that digitization and innovative management are critical drivers of efficiency, productivity, and competitive advantage in the contemporary business environment. A mixed-methods approach was employed to test this hypothesis, combining statistical data analysis, case studies of leading global and Ukrainian enterprises (including Amazon, Nova Poshta, and SoftServe), and regression modeling. The study sample includes data from eight enterprises and insights from 15 managers representing various industries. The results indicate that adopting digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and IoT, significantly enhances business process automation, customer interaction, and organizational efficiency. The findings highlight notable growth trends in digital transformation indicators, including profitability, innovation output, and market competitiveness. Companies prioritizing digital innovations experience higher financial performance and adaptability in a dynamic market environment. This study underscores the implications of digitization for business process management, providing actionable insights for managers aiming to develop effective strategies for integrating digital and innovative practices. The research contributes to the theoretical understanding of digital transformation and offers practical applications for businesses seeking sustained growth and competitive advantage.
Financial systems and their influence on entrepreneurial development: insights for building sustainable and inclusive ecosystems

The relationship between financial systems and entrepreneurial development is explored in this paper, specifically how the conditions and characteristics of a country’s financial system affect entrepreneurial opportunities within a space of sustainability and inclusivity. The study is conducted using a mixed methods approach consisting of both a systematic literature review and econometric modeling, coupled with qualitative analysis of a subsample of countries to analyze these dynamics. At a fundamental level, it seeks to analyze the dynamics of financial systems, including the regulatory frameworks, market structures, and access to finance, and their role in forming an entrepreneurial landscape and contributing to the development of sustainable and inclusive ecosystems. The results show strong patterns and challenges in how financial systems support entrepreneurship. Areas of investigation include the role of financial institutions and markets in organizing access to finance (including the impact of regulatory barriers on entrepreneurial activities) and the integration of sustainability principles in policy and practice. This study stresses the need to align financial system policies with the goals of sustainable entrepreneurship so as to facilitate inclusive economic growth. Additionally, the research points out directions for how to make finance more accessible, foster more innovation, and remove the inefficiencies of regulation. For policymakers, investors, and researchers, the insights are designed to improve the entrepreneurial ecosystems through targeted investments as well as simplifying the financial processes. Through proactive actions, stakeholders have the ability to utilize entrepreneurialism as a tool for economic growth, societal progress, and ecological sustainability. The findings of this research contribute to the current ongoing discourse in sustainable entrepreneurship by furthering the stream of debate proposing how financial systems facilitate or inhibit entrepreneurial outcomes.
Автоматизація бізнес-процесів у віртуальній економіці за допомогою штучного інтелекту

Починаючи з 1950-х років штучний інтелект має великий вплив на суспільство. Після десятиліть очікувань машини, які думають, навчаються та творять, готові змінити віртуальну економіку, ринки та життя суспільства. Наприкінці 2022 року ChatGPT, чат-бот із мовною обробкою, почали синтезувати масиви інформації та генерувати людський текст у відповідь на запити, це стало переломним моментом в історії розвитку ШІ. Штучний інтелект має величезний потенціал для стимулювання інновацій, покращення процесів прийняття рішень і вирішення складних проблем у різних сферах, позитивно впливаючи на суспільство.
Вектор розвитку IT-галузі в умовах переходу від автоматизації до цифровізації

До останнього часу ІТ-галузь зосереджувалась на автоматизації рутинних процесів, що дозволило значно підвищити ефективність операційної діяльності підприємств. Якщо глянути на ІТ-галузь із боку, можна побачити, що до останнього часу розвиток відбувався в треку, який ми називали «автоматизацією діяльності», тобто з’явилася велика кількість ІТ-систем, що дозволяють автоматизувати багато рутинних функцій. При цьому інші ж ділянки, на яких машина не могла замінити людину, продовжували працювати люди. Нещодавно, ми безпосередньо наблизилися до епохи цифровізації. ІТ-термінологія зазнала змін: автоматизація стала цифровізацією; автоматизовані системи стали цифровими системами. В контексті цих змін важливо визначити вектор розвитку ІТ-галузі, ідентифікувати її в цьому процесі та зрозуміти, яке місце тут займає архітектура бізнесу та відповідно архітектура підприємства (корпорації) в цілому.
The role of start-ups in stimulating innovative economic growth: challenges and risks

Understanding how economic factors affect a business is essential to making smart decisions and leading a business. However, this starts with understanding the role of internal and external factors and how they play out in a business. A start-up is no exception, although it is hard to call it a full-fledged business; a start-up is a project of any kind that is just starting to develop in the market. For the successful implementation of a new project, a certain amount of start-up capital is required. No start-up can be implemented without appropriate financial injections, without attracting investments that are quite risky and require significant attention from the investor at the investment planning stage. Almost all start-up projects are financed by investors who are willing to invest their own capital in the development of a promising project. In general, any project begins with an idea that will form the basis of a new business. If an entrepreneur manages to offer consumers a high-quality product that has no analogues in the market but is in demand, his success will be guaranteed. But to achieve this, a good idea needs to be properly developed, involving specialised professionals and investors. Venture capital funds and investment companies that invest in innovative projects are engaged in the development of such ideas, and the state stimulates these processes through a system of mechanisms and levers of economic development of business. Given the significant importance of start-ups for the economic growth of the State, the purpose of the study is to determine the role of start-ups in stimulating innovative economic growth, taking into account the challenges and risks posed by the environment. To achieve this goal, the methods of statistical data analysis, generalisation of scientific sources, specification of opportunities and risks created by start-up projects for economic systems were used. In the process of developing the study, it was found that start-ups play an important role in ensuring economic growth opportunities for the entire state, since creating favourable conditions for the development of small businesses and stimulating investment activity in innovative projects can lead to a significant increase in tax revenues to budgets of various levels in the future, but an important aspect of stimulating start-up projects is risk assessment and prudent investment in such projects.

Сучасний світ характеризується стрімким розвитком інформаційних технологій, підприємства всіх секторів економіки змушені адаптуватися до нових умов ведення бізнесу. Цифрова трансформація вносить суттєві зміни у методи ведення бізнесу, стратегічне планування, управління ланцюгами поставок, взаємодію з клієнтами та багато інших важливих аспектів діяльності підприємств. Такі зміни надають підприємствам як значних можливостей, так і створюють нові виклики. Інтеграція інформаційних технологій у стратегічне планування надає підприємствам можливість використовувати аналітичні інструменти для глибокого аналізу даних, що дозволяє краще розуміти ринкові тенденції і виявляти потенційні можливості та загрози. Великі дані та аналітика допомагають компаніям здійснювати обґрунтовані рішення, опираючись на факти, а не на інтуїцію. Процеси автоматизації та роботизації змінюють виробництво, роблячи його більш ефективним. Впровадження роботизованого обладнання, інтернету речей (IoT) і ІТ-орієнтованих систем управління виробництвом дозволяє знижувати витрати, підвищувати продуктивність і гарантувати високу якість продукції.
Сучасний стан та перспективи вдосконалення співпраці закладів вищої освіти та бізнесу на основі прелімінарингу

У статті розглянуто питання та проаналізовано проблеми взаємовідносин закладів вищої освіти й бізнесу. Мета дослідження полягає у визначенні ефективної стратегії співпраці між закладами освіти та підприємствами для майбутнього розвитку економіки України. Значну увагу приділено загальним принципам взаємодії, ролі й методам співпраці закладів вищої освіти в Україні і світі, окреслено переваги та перспективи такої співпраці. Проведено аналіз сучасних методів співпраці закладів вищої освіти й підприємств. Розглянуто досвід їхньої співпраці у США, Німеччині, Великій Британії та Україні. Наголошено на важливості застосування моделі потрійної спіралі й сучасної технології прелімінарингу, яка полягає в пошуку співробітників серед здобувачів і випускників закладів вищої освіти та бізнес-шкіл; розглянуто, які переваги в майбутньому можуть отримати підприємства, упроваджуючи вказану технологію у свою діяльність. Розроблено сучасні практичні рекомендації для ефективної співпраці закладів вищої освіти й підприємств усіх сфер діяльності, виконано аналіз витрат здобувачів на навчання та строки окупності цих витрат після працевлаштування. Встановлено, які спеціальності наразі є найактуальнішими та як наявність вищої освіти впливає на отримання найкращих пропозицій з працевлаштування. Зроблено висновки, що на сьогоднішній день в Україні для забезпечення ефективного навчання висококваліфікованих співробітників необхідно забезпечити постійну співпрацю закладів вищої освіти та підприємств у напрямку обміну як теоретичним, так і практичним досвідом із залученням здобувачів до роботи підприємств не тільки в період виробничої практики, а й під час викладання фахових дисциплін.
Оптимізація витрат фармацевтичного підприємства з використанням сучасних інформаційних технологій

Фармацевтична галузь є однією із перспективних напрямів розвитку економіки України. В умовах війни фармацевтичні підприємства стикаються з великою кількістю перешкод та труднощів. Оптимізація витрат стає однією з основних цілей фармацевтичних підприємств. Ефективність діяльності сучасного фармацевтичного підприємства залежить від автоматизації усіх бізнес-процесів, починаючи від розробки лікарських засобів до їх транспортування. За допомогою технологій RPA та АІ, виробники ліків можуть пришвидшити виведення нових продуктів на ринок, скоротити витрати та покращити якість своєї продукції.

Сучасний світ вимагає від бізнесу постійних змін. Автоматизація бізнес процесів на підприємствах, віртуалізація підприємницької діяльності, використання сучасних методів та підходів у виробництві та просуванні товарів на ринок, все це впливає на вартість готового продукту або послуги. Слід зазначити, що інформаційні технології та автоматизація стали важливою складавою діяльності не тільки комерційних підприємств, але і значно впливають на сферу виробництва. Фармацевтичні компанії по всьому світу з кожним роком все частіше використовують інформаційні технології на всіх етапах виробництва та збуту лікарських засобів.
Податковий потенціал інвестиційного розвитку в системі соціально-економічної безпеки регіону в умовах децентралізації

Визначено, що соціально-економічна безпека регіону призначена забезпечити зростання соціально-економічного добробуту громади, що можливо лише за відповідного рівня інвестицій. Узагальнено теоретичні та практичні аспекти формування податкового потенціалу інвестиційного розвитку регіону в умовах фінансової децентралізації. Визначено податковий потенціал інвестиційного розвитку як один із головних системних елементів формування соціально-економічної безпеки регіону, який охоплює сукупність процесів і явищ у виробничій, інвестиційній, інноваційній, фінансовій, податковій, бюджетній сферах і залежить від сукупності факторів, зокрема, динаміки економічного розвитку, соціальної структури населення регіону, мобільності робочої сили, рівня ресурсної забезпеченості, природно-кліматичних умов, нормативно-правового регулювання, якості правовикористання, рівня інтегрованості в систему міжнародних економічних відносин та ін. Доцільним вбачається підвищення результативності податкових і бюджетних механізмів щодо інвестиційного стимулювання зростання ефективності суб’єктів господарювання та детінізації, що потребує розширення податкової бази в регіоні, спрощення й оптимізації структури податків, удосконалення системи адміністрування податків, запровадження оптимальних і ефективних ставок податків, забезпечення економічної та соціальної справедливості при справлянні податків тощо. Як результат, формуються привабливі умови на рівні адміністративно-територіальної одиниці для розвитку малого і середнього бізнесу, самозайнятості населення, використання можливостей чинного законодавства щодо податкового стимулювання інвестиційної активності. Узагальнено, що для підвищення рівня та якості податкового потенціалу інвестиційного розвитку регіонів необхідно систематично досліджувати структуру та динаміку місцевих бюджетів, ефективність інвестиційних процесів, розвивати співпрацю державних та місцевих органів влади, представників бізнесу, інвесторів, суспільства.

У 2014 році з прийняття Концепції реформи місцевого самоврядування та територіальної організації влади в Україні було розпочато процес децентралазції у напрямі забезпечення збалансованого соціально-економічного розвитку регіонів на основі підвищення рівня їх фінансової самодостатності шляхом посилення бюджетної децентралізації.

Стаття присвячена визначенню сутності внутрішньої та зовнішньої ефективності освіти. Через використання показників кількості населення, яка здобуває освіту, числа навчальних закладів, чисельності працівників освіти та видатків зведеного бюджету України на систему освіти у фактичних цінах встановлено відносно високу внутрішню ефективність української системи освіти. Обґрунтовано основні напрями впливу освіти на соціально-економічний розвиток країни, а саме: сприяння зростанню якісних і кількісних характеристик сукупного працівника; формування ділових та інноваційних навичок підприємців; збільшення чисельності середнього класу за рахунок підвищення доступності вищої освіти; створення умов соціального взаєморозуміння та взаємодії у суспільстві шляхом підвищення рівня економічної, правової, політичної і громадянської культури населення. Метою дослідження є поглиблення наукових підходів до визначення ефективності освіти.
