| dc.description.abstract | The article examines the interpretation of the views of the prominent Antioch school theologian Theodore of Mopsuestia in the correspondence of Proclus, the patriarch of Constantinople, with the representatives of the Armenian Church. After the condemnation of the Nestorius, his supporters began to refer to the works of highly esteemed Theodore of Mopsuestia, who had been the teacher of Nestorius. This situation gave rise to an attempt of some Armenian priests to revise the attitude towards the deceased authority. | uk |
