Анотація
У статті здійснено комплексне лінгвістичне дослідження функціонування метафоричних моделей в оповіданні Євгена Гуцала «Пролетіли коні». Проаналізовано систему метафоричних утворень як одну з базових складових ідіостилю письменника та засіб концептуалізації його мовної картини світу. Дослідження охоплює типологічну характеристику метафор за структурно-семантичними, функціональними та когнітивними ознаками. Досліджуються механізми метафоризації художнього дискурсу та функціональне навантаження метафоричних моделей у створенні психологічної характеристики образів-персонажів, репрезентації історичної пам’яті, моделюванні екзистенційного простору та формуванні складових гуманістичної концептосфери художнього тексту. Особливу увагу зосереджено на ключових концептуальних моделях «ЛЮДИНА – МЕХАНІЗМ», «ТЕХНІКА – ЖИВА ІСТОТА», «ДУША – ПРОСТІР», «ПАМ’ЯТЬ – ВОГОНЬ», «ЖИТТЯ – ШЛЯХ» та архетипній моделі складової картини світу українського народу «КОНІ – ЖИТТЯ / МОЛОДІСТЬ / ІСТОРИЧНИЙ РУХ». У статті робиться спроба аргументації твердження про те, що система метафоричних моделей є одним із основних механізмів організації художнього дискурсу Євгена Гуцала, що виступає основним інструментом забезпечення глибокої психологізації тексту, символізації історичного досвіду та репрезентації індивідуально-авторської мовної картини світу.
Метою дослідження є комплексний аналіз метафоричних моделей в оповіданні Євгена Гуцала «Пролетіли коні», визначення закономірностей їх функціонування, дослідження когнітивних механізмів творення, функціонального навантаження і ролі в формуванні художнього світу твору та ідіостилю письменника.
Обʼєктом дослідження є система метафоричних моделей оповідання Євгена Гуцала «Пролетіли коні», їх структурна організація, семантика та системні зв’язки. Предметом дослідження є функціонування метафоричних моделей у художньому тексті твору, їх когнітивні, стилістичні та дискурсотвірні особливості. Джерельною базою дослідження є текст оповідання Євгена Гуцала «Пролетіли коні».
У статті використано відповідний комплекс методів дослідження: дескриптивний, структурно-семантичний, функціонально-стилістичний, контекстуальний, елементи когнітивно-дискурсивного аналізу, а також метод концептуального моделювання.
The article presents a comprehensive linguistic study of the functioning of metaphorical models in Yevhen Hutsalo’s short story The Horses Flew By. It examines the system of metaphorical constructions as one of the fundamental components of the writer’s individual style and as a means of conceptualizing his linguistic worldview. The research provides a typological analysis of metaphors according to their structural-semantic, functional, and cognitive characteristics. Particular attention is paid to the mechanisms of metaphorization based on the transfer of meaning through similarities in functions, properties, and spatial characteristics, as well as on anthropomorphization, personification, and the conceptualization of the human inner world. The study investigates the functional role of metaphorical models in constructing the psychological characterization of literary characters, representing historical memory, modeling the existential space, and shaping the humanistic conceptual sphere of the artistic discourse. Special emphasis is placed on the key conceptual models HUMAN BEING IS A MACHINE, TECHNOLOGY IS A LIVING BEING, THE SOUL IS A SPACE, MEMORY IS FIRE, LIFE IS A JOURNEY, and on the archetypal conceptual model constituting part of the Ukrainian national worldview, HORSES ARE LIFE / YOUTH / HISTORICAL MOVEMENT. The article argues that the system of metaphorical models constitutes one of the principal mechanisms organizing Yevhen Hutsalo’s artistic discourse. It functions as a key instrument for achieving profound psychological depth, symbolizing historical experience, and representing the author’s distinctive linguistic worldview.
