Зокрема, простежуються основні історичні та політичні пертурбації, що вплинули на формування сучасного соціолінгвістичного середовища на території островів. dc.description.abstractThe article analyses the evolution of language policies in Taiwan and Singapore to highlight the main similarities and differences between the two Asian countries. The work also aims to deepen the understanding of the evolution of the language environment on the islands and highlight the main historical and political factors of influence. Particular attention is paid to analyzing the current sociolinguistic situation, considering modern state entities' cultural and political specifics. The results of the study help to better understand the context of contemporary language policies on the islands and their relationship to national identity in these regions.en
