Анотація
В статье проанализировано эволюцию зарубежных теорий революции, описаны подходы систематизации теорий. В процессе исторического дискурса рассмотрены проблемы современной природы феномена революции.
The article analyzes the problems of systematization and comparison of foreign concepts of revolution. The relevance of the topic is determined by the increase in the number of new characteristics of "revolutionary events", the many social risks and shocks that they carry in themselves, the need for scientific rethinking of this phenomenon. The author focuses attention on the fact that the accumulation of scientific knowledge about the revolution leads to an increase in the explanatory concepts of revolutions and the rethinking of previous approaches to this phenomenon. The increased potential for conflict is accompanied by bursts of social activity, which are often called revolutions. For Ukraine, which has experienced several similar shocks during its independent development, this problem has a special theoretical and practical significance. It is noted that it is impossible to consider foreign theories of revolution outside the evolutionary context. The study found that the systematization should be based on homogeneous principles and criteria that take into account historical conditions and specific forms of manifestations of revolutions in certain regions and countries
