dc.description.abstractУ статті розглядається зв’язок між конструктивною журналістикою та теорією соціальної відповідальності преси, що передбачає моральний обов’язок журналістів враховувати інтереси суспільства при створенні матеріалів. Аналізується кореляція між основними засадами журналістики соціальної відповідальності, які спрямовані на перехід від конфлікту до конструктивних дискусій, та розглядаються спільні та відмінні риси конструктивної та адвокаційної (правозахисної) журналістики. На основі моніторингу матеріалів українського медіа «Рубрика» протягом червня-серпня 2024 року, продемонстровано, як впроваджується конструктивний підхід при висвітленні правозахисних тем, зокрема стосовно дітей, жінок, та військовослужбовців і ветеранів. Робота акцентує увагу на характерному пакуванні матеріалів, що відповідає конструктивному підходу та позитивному вирішенню проблем. uk
dc.description.abstractThis article explores the intricate relationship between Constructive Journalism and the theory of Social Responsibility of the press, which asserts the moral obligation of journalists to consider the broader societal interests when producing content. The study delves into the correlation between the core tenets of Social Responsibility Journalism — principally the shift from conflict-centered narratives to constructive dialogue — and the key features that distinguish Constructive Journalism from Advocacy (or Human Rights) Journalism. By examining content from the Ukrainian media outlet "Rubryka" during the period of June to August 2024, the article provides a comprehensive analysis of how the constructive approach is implemented in the coverage of Human Rights Issues. The focus is placed on topics concerning children, women, military personnel, and veterans, illustrating how media can foster positive societal change. This research emphasizes the importance of the distinctive packaging of content that reflects a constructive approach, showcasing problem-solving and hope-oriented narratives. The study also identifies shared characteristics between Constructive and Advocacy Journalism, while highlighting their differences. Constructive Journalism prioritizes objective, solution-oriented reporting that facilitates societal progress without necessarily taking an activist stance. Conversely, Advocacy Journalism often involves a more direct engagement in promoting specific causes or defending the rights of marginalized groups. The relevance of this research lies in the potential impact of Constructive Journalism in transforming societal conflict into constructive discourse, fostering mutual understanding, and driving social progress. It also underscores the evolving role of the press in acting not just as observers but as facilitators of dialogue and change, contributing to a more informed and engaged society.en
