dc.description.abstractThe comprehensive study to determine the effect of a mixture of vitamins on the content of metabolites of vitamin C in organs of rats with toxic hepatitis was conducted. Intraperitoneal administration of tetrachloroethane (TCM) caused a decrease in the content of sum of ascorbic acid metabolites (AA) by 11-27%, the content of AA - by 47-54% compared with control. The content of dehydroascorbic and diketogulonic acids increased in all organs by 19 - 35% and 19-50%, respectively, in comparison with control. In the kidneys, due to the action of tetrachloroethane, there was a more significant damage to the metabolism than in other organs. The protective effect of a mixture of vitamins was insufficient and not optimal, because it caused a redistribution of metabolites of vitamin C in organs in conditions of toxic effects of tetrachloroethane.
