dc.description.abstractДослідження методом високоефективної рідинної хроматографії (ВЕРХ) водно-етанольного екстракту з кореневища Armoracia rusticana показало присутність в сировині шести груп поліфенольних сполук, серед яких домінуюче місце займали катехіноподібні речовини та фенольні кислоти. В незначних кількостях були ідентифіковані групи флавонолів, флаванонів, катехінів та флавонів. За результатами дослідження встановлено, що загальний вміст поліфенолів в екстракті Armoracia rusticana становив 271,86 мкг/мл. Токсикологічні дослідження, проведені методом in vivo показали, що екстракт відноситься до помірно токсичних сполук (ІІІ клас токсичності). Це свідчить про перспективи використання Armoracia rusticana як джерела біологічно активних речовин для подальших фармакологічних досліджень та впровадження в фітотерапії. uk
dc.description.abstractHigh-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis of the aqueous-ethanolic extract of Armoracia rusticana rhizome revealed the presence of six main groups of polyphenolic compounds in the raw material, among which catechin-like substances and phenolic acids were the dominant ones. These components are known for their ability to deactivate free radicals, prevent the development of oxidative stress and slow down the aging process of cells. Flavanols, flavanones, catechins and flavones were also found in small concentrations, which have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant effects. All of these bioactive substances can play an important role in strengthening the immune system, maintaining cardiovascular health and preventing chronic diseases. According to the results of quantitative analysis, it was found that the total content of polyphenolic compounds in the Armoracia rusticana extract was 271.86 μg/ml. This indicator indicates a high biological activity of the extract, which allows us to consider it as a promising source of natural antioxidants for use in the pharmaceutical industry and phytotherapy. Toxicological studies conducted by the in vivo method on laboratory animals showed that the extract belongs to moderately toxic compounds (III toxicity class). This corresponds to the permissible limits of toxicity and indicates the relative safety of the agent for further study and clinical application. The results obtained indicate the prospect of using Armoracia rusticana as a plant source of biologically active substances with a wide spectrum of action. This opens up opportunities for the development of new phytotherapeutic drugs that meet modern medical requirements for effectiveness and safety.en
