Анотація
У роботі досліджували карієспрофілактичну, пародонтопротекторну, протизапальну та антиоксидантну ефективність комплексу вітамінів, мінералів та сорбенту у самок щурів на тлі тривалої алкогольної інтоксикації. Алкоголізацію у щурів викликали шляхом заміни питної води на розчин етанолу з 8 до 25 % тривалістю 104 доби. Оцінювали інтенсивність карієсу зубів, ступень атрофії альвеолярного відростку щелеп, у слизовій оболонці порожнини рота – наявність ознак запальних процесів за маркерами активності кислої фосфатази та еластази, а також стан антиоксидантного захисту – за активністю каталази, рівнем малонового діальдегіду та антиоксидантно-прооксидантним індексом.
Встановили, що алкогольна інтоксикація у щурів викликала активізацію каріозного процесу, збільшення атрофії альвеолярного відростку щелеп, розвиток запалення та оксидативного стресу у слизовій оболонці порожнини рота. Профілактичне застосування комплексу вітамінів, мінералів і сорбенту в умовах тривалого отримання щурами розчину етанолу запобігало розвитку карієсу зубів, резорбції кісткової тканини альвеолярного відростку щелеп, гальмувало запальні процеси та викликало антиоксидантну ефективність у ротовій порожнині.
The work investigated the caries-prophylactic, periodontal-protective, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effectiveness of a complex of vitamins, minerals and a sorbent in female rats against the background of long-term alcohol intoxication. Alcoholism was induced in rats by replacing drinking water with an 8 to 25% ethanol solution for 104 days. The intensity of dental caries, the degree of atrophy of the alveolar process of the jaws, the presence of signs of inflammation in the oral mucosa by the activity of elastase and acid phosphatase, and the state of the antioxidant-prooxidant system by the content of malondialdehyde, catalase activity, and the antioxidant-prooxidant index were evaluated. It was established that alcohol intoxication in rats caused activation of the carious process, increased atrophy of the alveolar process of the jaws, development of inflammation and oxidative stress in the oral mucosa. Prophylactic use of a complex of vitamins, minerals and a sorbent under the conditions of long-term exposure of rats to an ethanol solution prevented the development of dental caries, resorption of bone tissue of the alveolar process of the jaws, inflammation and had an antioxidant effect in the oral cavity.
