dc.description.abstractУ статті розглядаються особливості формування семантично еквівалентних лінгвістичних термінів. Ураховуючи характерні для термінів ознаки та функції, пропонується умотивований вибір номінації для таких термінів, аналізуються причини їх появи та шляхи проникнення у мову. Визначення статусу цих термінів у термінологічній системі мови пов’язане з упорядкуванням, систематизацією та стандартизацією лінгвістичної термінології.uk

Проанализированы причины появления в языке терминологических эквивалентов, предложен выбор номинации для семантически эквивалентных терминов. Результаты исследования свидетельствуют о тенденциях развития лингвистической терминологии, способствуя стандартизации научных терминов.uk
dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to the study of scientific terms that are in a relation of semantic equivalence. Defining the status of these terms in the language terminology system involves issues of their ordering, systematization and unification in the reflection of the realities of modern science. The object of the research is modern scientific terminology. Semantically equivalent linguistic terms are the research subjects. The purpose of this research is to describe characteristics of the formation of semantically equivalent linguistic terms. To achieve this goal, we used descriptive and comparative research methods that gave us a possibility to study functional and semantic equivalence of terms. As a result of the research, we propose a reasoned choice of denominations for semantically equivalent terms. We also analyzed the reasons why semantically equivalent terms appear and the ways they penetrate into the language. This analysis will make it possible to identify trends in the development of linguistic terminology associated with general development of linguistic science, and will facilitate standardization of scientific terminology.uk
