Зовнішня політика Італії в міжвоєнний період (1918-1939)

У статті здійснено аналіз зовнішньої політиці Італії у міжвоєнний період. Автором висвітлені її основні особливості та основні фактори, що на неї вплинули. Автором показана подвійність зовнішньої політики Італії, а також причини події, які мали безпосередній вплив на різкі повороти в зміні пріоритетів у зовнішній політиці. Досліджуючи зовнішню політику Італії в міжвоєнний період автор стверджує, що ідеологія фашизму та особистість Беніто Муссоліні мали значний вплив на дії Італії на міжнародній арені в міжвоєнний період, що в певній мірі змінило уявлення про методи реалізації зовнішньополітичних інтересів держави. У сттаті визначено, що в міжвоєнний період претензії на територіальні розширення були основою зовнішньої політики фашистської Італії. The theme of work is Italian foreign policy during the interwar period. The relevance of the theme is based on the Italian role during interwar period on international arena. Italy became the center of fascist movement and that is why Italian foreign policy was built due to fascist ideas and tasks. A great amount of the biggest European conflicts of those times has been influenced by Italian actions on the international arena. This work also analyses Italian wars in Libya and Ethiopia and its role on the system of international relations. Italian campaign in Libya and Ethiopia are discussed as a political event. Fascist regime had an idea of returning Italy to the borders of Roman Empire and bring back the times of Romanian glory, but Italians had a lot of problems. A big attention was paid to Benito Mussolini, Italian prime – minister, who had brought his personal points of view into policy. Despite of Mussolini’s huge impact on European politicians, Italians could not whatever they wanted and there were a lot of examples when Mussolini’s actions brought his country not in the favorable positions. This work is aimed to show Italian foreign policy in 1918 – 1939. One part of work tells about Italian cooperating with Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler`s regime. The work with Nazi regime was an important step in diplomacy. Clashes between Italy and other European countries happened because of Italian plans in Europe and Africa. A big part of African territories became a part of Italy. This work tries to analyze one of the periods of European history from Italian side.
