| dc.description.abstract | Over time and political dynamics, Fukuyama warns against internal forces leading to stagnation and political decline in liberal democracies that threaten the normal development of this system of government. As a result, he publishes Political Order and Political Decline. The concept of political development is important. The author claims that this is a change in political institutions over time. In this context, according to Fukuyama, Denmark is an example of a legitimate political system. The researcher believes that this is a model of countries with which to compare. On the contrary, the theorist argues that not every country can actually implement a liberal democratic framework. An example is post-colonial states, into which Western culture and institutions were transferred without regard for ethnic characteristics, which became very irrelevant and did not develop. In addition, Fukuyama stresses the importance of having a strong bureaucracy. In addition, Fukuyama attaches great importance to this issue of political decline in the example of the modern United States. Fukuyama claims the state is in political decline. Namely, because the institutional structures that have arisen in the past cannot develop along with new social problems, therefore, institutional decline occurs. The warnings of the well-known political scientist are relevant for Ukraine, because the political leadership currently cannot choose exactly such a reform strategy that will meet modern challenges. | |
