Анотація
Мета статі – визначення найбільш продуктивних засобів персуазивності у мовленнєвому вузлі з урахуванням гендерної особливості мовця. Об’єктом розгляду виступає мовленнєва партія головної героїні, Келлі Джонс, у кінодискурсі фільму «Fly Me to the Moon» (2024), а предметом є лексичні, граматичні та невербальні шляхи досягнення результативності мовленнєвого впливу у діалозі. У роботі використано холістичний підхід до вивчення фактичного матеріалу, а саме поєднання наступних методів дослідження: загальнонаукового підходу, а також суто лінгвістичних методів аналізу: спостереження, критичний аналіз теоретичних здобутків дослідників зазначеної проблеми, дескриптивний аналіз виявлених закономірностей, комунікативно-інтерпретаційний метод (аналіз смислових значень реплік і невербальних елементів у діалогах, з урахуванням їхньої художньої функції у фільмі), метод гендерного аналізу (вивчення специфіки використання мовленнєвих засобів у мовленні героїні з урахуванням її гендерних характеристик), а також метод систематизації та структурування мовленнєвих стратегій і тактик комунікації, задіяних головною героїнею. Отримані результати дослідження уможливлюють дійти до висновків, згідно з якими ефективність мовленнєвого впливу героїні забезпечується гармонійним поєднанням маніпулятивної аргументації, емоційної насиченості та невербальних засобів комунікації. Визначено, що Келлі Джонс у своїй комунікативній поведінці поєднує мовленнєві стратегії, залежно від мети й типу адресата. До найпоширеніших мовленнєвих тактик віднесено апеляцію до авторитету, персоналізацію звертань, імітацію емоцій та використання позитивної самопрезентації. Невербальні засоби (міміка, жести, погляд, інтонація) виступають ключовим компонентом створення емоційного фону і підсилюють персуазивний ефект висловлювань. Показано, що ефективна комунікація у художньому дискурсі ґрунтується на здатності мовця інтегрувати вербальні й невербальні елементи у єдину систему, яка забезпечує досягнення комунікативної мети. Отримані результати підкреслюють важливість аналізу гендерного аспекту мовленнєвого впливу в художньому діалозі, а перспективами роботи є подальше вивчення лексичних і синтаксичних засобів реалізації персуазивності у сучасному кінодискурсі.
The objective of the article is to identify the most effective means of persuasion in speech, taking into account the gender characteristics of the speaker. The object of consideration is the speech of the main character, Kelly Jones, in the film discourse Fly Me to the Moon (2024), and the subject is her lexical, grammatical and non-verbal ways of achieving effective speech influence in the dialogue. The work uses a holistic approach to the study of the actual material, namely a combination of the following research methods: a general scientific approach, as well as purely linguistic methods of analysis, like: observation, critical analysis of the theoretical achievements of researchers of the specified problem, descriptive analysis of the identified patterns, communicative-interpretative method (analysis of the semantic meanings of the characters’ remarks and the non-verbal elements in their dialogues, taking into account their artistic function in the film), the method of gender analysis (studying the specifics of use of linguistic means in the heroine’s speech with due consideration for her gender characteristics), as well as the method of systematisation and structuring of speech strategies and communication tactics used by the main heroine. The results of the study allow us to conclude that the effectiveness of the heroine’s speech impact is ensured by a harmonious combination of manipulative argumentation, emotional intensity, and non-verbal means of communication. It has been found out that Kelly Jones combines speech strategies in her communicative behaviour, depending on the goal and type of her addressee. The most common speech tactics include appealing to the authority, personalising direct addresses, imitating emotions, and using positive self-presentation. Non-verbal means (facial expressions, gestures, eyes expression, intonation) are key components in creating an emotional background and, thus, enhance the persuasive effect of her statements. The article shows that effective communication in artistic discourse is based on the speaker’s ability to integrate verbal and non-verbal elements into a single system that ensures the speaker’s achieving their communicative goal. The results obtained emphasise the importance of analysing the gender aspect of the speech impact in the artistic dialogue. The perspectives of our further work include the study of lexical and syntactic means of achieving persuasiveness in contemporary film discourse.
