Definition of geography. According to the theoretical research of S. V. Rudnitsky, A. A. Grigoriev, M. M. Ermolaev, K. I. Gerenchuk, D. L. Armand, O. M. Marinich, P. G. Shishchenko, V. M. Pashchenko, and other scientists, geography is a fundamental science that has gained experience over many centuries. The science always described, researched, and evaluated the human environment, which was called γεή (Earth, Environment), and over time, her research description (γραφό) of the known part of our planet was called γεή (Earth, environment). Therefore, the scientific and philosophical teaching was called γεήγραφό — geography. As a result, today the situation has finally adapted to science, according to which the object of geographical research is a very complex environment in which a person lives. A person feeds on Natural Resources, conducts anthropogenic activities, and tries to organize rational use of Natural Resources. Such an environment on the surface of our planet has received the successful scientific name geographical envelope. It formed separate geospheres, objects and their elements, natural components, and “included” a number of active factors. Within its borders, continents, Islands, oceans and seas were created along with the water column and bottom, with living organisms, and so on. And all of them interact closely and interpenetrate, which leads to further complications. All this led to the emergence of a unified theory of geography, which was fundamentally different from the theory of mathematics, medicine, economics, military affairs, etc.
