dc.description.abstractУ статті розглянуто питання формування толерантності як аксіологічної основи професійної культури поліцейського через впровадження спеціалізованих тренінгових програм. Досліджено ключові аспекти розвитку толерантного ставлення до громадян у курсантів закладів вищої освіти системи МВС та діючих працівників поліції. Окреслено найефективніші методики та підходи до формування ціннісних орієнтацій толерантності у професійній діяльності поліцейських. Визначено основні компоненти тренінгової програми, спрямованої на розвиток толерантності як професійної компетенції. Наголошено на необхідності створення комплексної системи тренінгів для забезпечення сталого розвитку толерантності в професійній культурі поліцейських. Запропоновано рекомендації щодо інтеграції тренінгових методик у систему професійної підготовки та підвищення кваліфікації працівників Національної поліції України. Підкреслено важливість толерантності як ключового фактора у побудові довіри між поліцією та громадою, а також її роль у підвищенні ефективності правоохоронної діяльності в сучасному демократичному суспільстві. uk
dc.description.abstractThe article examines the fundamental role of tolerance as a key axiological component of the professional culture of a modern police officer. The author considers tolerance not only as an ethical norm, but also as an integral professional competence, which significantly affects the effectiveness of law enforcement activities and the level of public trust in the police. The main attention is paid to innovative methods of building tolerance among cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and active police officers through the implementation of specialized training programs. The structure and content of the training on the development of a tolerant attitude towards citizens, which includes theoretical and practical components, are analyzed in detail. In particular, such elements of training as self-analysis of one's own prejudices, development of cultural competence, improvement of communication skills and conflict de-escalation techniques are considered. The paper presents the results of an empirical study of the effectiveness of the proposed training program, conducted on the basis of several institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Quantitative and qualitative indicators of changes in the level of tolerance of the participants before and after the training are given, and the long-term effects of the program on the professional activity of police officers are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the international experience of implementing similar training programs. The author conducts a comparative analysis of approaches to the formation of tolerance among police officers in different countries, highlighting the most effective practices and considering the possibilities of their adaptation to Ukrainian realities. The article also touches on the issue of integrating the values of tolerance into the general system of professional training of police officers. Ways to include components on the development of tolerance in the curricula of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and training courses for active police officers are being considered. The author argues for the need for a systematic approach to the formation of tolerance, emphasizing the importance of creating appropriate organizational and legal support. Specific recommendations are offered for the improvement of departmental regulations and internal instructions in order to consolidate the principles of tolerance in the professional activities of police officers. The conclusions emphasize that tolerance is not only an ethical norm, but also a powerful tool for increasing the effectiveness of police work. The author emphasizes the need for further research in this area, in particular, the study of the impact of the increased level of tolerance of police officers on the quality of their interaction with the community and the general level of law and order in society. The article is of interest to scientists in the field of legal psychology, pedagogy of higher education, as well as to practical employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, involved in the professional training and education of police personnel.en
