dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджено магічні тексти (замовляння, закляття, прокльони) та їхня специфіка як різновиду вербальної магії в художньому дискурсі українськомовного та російськомовного фентезі, а також як мовленнєвого жанру, що має інтертекстуально- фольклорну семантичну навантаженість. Проаналізовано функції магічних текстів у фентезійному дискурсі, наведено різноскеровані визначення магії та магічних вербальних одиниць у сучасному мовознавстві, розглянуто різновиди деривації, визначено специфіку авторського утворення та використання вербальних магічних одиниць, що мають на меті вплив на людину, її фізичний та психічний стан, а також на навколишній простір і загалом на реальність та Всесвіт. Вони використовуються для різноманітних цілей: захисту/нападу, прохання, пророкування, прокляття або благословення, руйнування або створення. Одиниці вербальної магії тісно пов’язані з мовним вираженням ірреальності. Такі моделі належать до «магії слова», яка поєднується з усіма видами магії. Проаналізовано також особливості синтагматики й парадигматики, функції хронотопу виголошення магічних текстів, виокремленість магічних текстів із побутового мовлення. Схарактеризовано загальну комунікативну ситуацію виголошення магічної сентенції, що включає в себе зовнішні обставини, внутрішній стан суб’єкта магії, а також інтермедіальні включення – магічні зображення, що мають на меті підсилити сугестивний вплив на реципієнтів як усередині тексту, так і на реципієнта – читача. Визначено зв’язок магічних текстів і елементів вигаданих мов у актуалізації концепту МАГІЯ як текстотвірного для фентезійного дискурсу.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article examines magical texts (orders, spells, curses) and their specifics as a kind of verbal magic in the literary discourse of Ukrainian and Russian fantasy, as well as a speech genre that has intertextual-folk semantic load. The functions of magical texts in fantasy discourse are analyzed, different definitions of magic and magical verbal units in modern linguistics are given, the types of derivation are considered, the specifics of author's formation and use of verbal magical units are determined, to the surrounding space and to reality and the Universe in general. They are used for a variety of purposes: protection / attack, request, prophecy, curse or blessing, destruction or creation. Units of verbal magic are closely related to the linguistic expression of unreality. Such models belong to the "magic of the word", which is combined with all kinds of magic. The peculiarities of syntagmatics and paradigmatics, the functions of the chronotope of utterance of magical texts, the isolation of magical texts from everyday speech are also analyzed. In addition to the chronological factor, it is important to restrict access for outsiders during the reproduction of ritual actions, the use of special rooms for rituals, and so on. The general communicative situation of uttering a magic sentence is characterized, which includes external circumstances, internal state of the subject of magic, as well as intermediate inclusions - magical images, which aim to enhance the suggestive influence on recipients both within the text and on the recipient - the reader. The connection between magical texts and elements of fictional languages in the actualization of the concept of MAGIC as a text-forming for fantasy discourse is determined. It is observed that the features of verbal magic in Ukrainian-speaking and Russian-speaking fantasy have certain fundamental differences. In Ukrainian-language texts, spells, orders, and other types of magic formulas mostly appear as intertextual, folklore units. Intertextuality can be manifested not only at the lexical but also at the syntactic level, when composing verbal magical units the authors use specific rhythms, rhyming verbs in the form of infinitives, natural parallelism, imperatives, synonymous verbs. The role of magical formulas is often performed by the author's occasionalisms. Phrases, at first glance absurd, can be elements of other, fictional languages. We observe occasional magic formulas, the text states that the language of the spell is not similar to everyday, even phonetically, and speculations are made about the physical characteristics of creatures that could create such a language. Prospects for the study are to include in the comparative analysis of Polish and English lexical combinations to denote verbal magic used in fantasy texts.
