Abstract
The northwestern Black Sea coastal area is the westernmost territory of the Great Eurasian Steppe.It always served as a contact zone between the latter and the Balkans.It had its own way of neolithization.The appearance of the first agricultural population in the steppes,that is,the "domestication" of the steppes, constitutes the main subject of this paper
