Анотація
It should be emphasized that Ukrainian legislation dedicated to cooperation, especially agricultural cooperation, does not contain gender-based discriminatory norms, “because they uphold the principles of open membership and equal rights for their members”, at the same time in practice there is a considerable gender gap between women and men in the Ukrainian agriculture, in particular in the field of agricultural cooperation, cooperative legislation does not contain separate principle of gender equality and gender integration in an agricultural cooperatives (cooperatives), that determines the relevance of the chosen research topic.
The section “Multiple discrimination and women's rights” of the State strategy for ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men for the period until 2030 establishes that “the results of the study “Gender aspects, development of the agriculture and rural areas – Ukraine” conducted in 2021 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, indicate limited access to many services, employment and justice for women living in rural areas”.
Actually women face such problems as, for example, fewer educational and employment opportunities, as well as limited access to resources, the latest digital technologies and so forth.
