dc.description.abstractДослідження метеорологічного режиму Антарктиди та його динаміки в світлі сучасних кліматичних змін, починаючи з середини минулого століття, проводяться вченими багатьох країн під егідою Всесвітньої метеорологічної організації (ВМО). Метою даної роботи є дослідження особливостей статистичної структури та багаторічної динаміки атмосферного тиску на станціях західної Антарктиди. Задачі, які були розв’язані відповідно до поставленої мети: − провести статистичний аналіз часових рядів атмосферного тиску. − дослідити динаміку атмосферного тиску та атмосферної циркуляції. − визначити приховані періодичності в часових рядах атмосферного тиску та провести процедуру їх згладжування з метою виявлення довгоперіодних коливань та трендів. Об’єкт дослідження – баричний режим Антарктиди. Предмет дослідження – середньомісячні значення атмосферного тиску на антарктичних станціях. Методи дослідження – фізико-статистичний та кліматичний аналіз. Наукова новизна отриманих результатів полягає у дослідженні динаміки кліматичних показників атмосферного тиску за даними багаторічних спостережень. Практичне значення отриманих результатів. Розраховані статистичні характеристики рядів атмосферного тиску та досліджено динаміка циркуляційних процесів, які можуть бути використані у вирішенні багатьох прикладних задач, а також при розробці фізико-статистичних моделей довгострокових прогнозів погоди для Південної полярної області.
dc.description.abstractStudies of the meteorological regime of Antarctica and its dynamics in the light of modern climate changes, starting from the middle of the last century, have been conducted by scientists from many countries under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The purpose of this work is to study the peculiarities of the statistical structure and long-term dynamics of atmospheric pressure at the stations of western Antarctica. Tasks that were solved in accordance with the set goal: - conduct a statistical analysis of atmospheric pressure time series. - to study the dynamics of atmospheric pressure and atmospheric circulation. - determine hidden periodicities in time series of atmospheric pressure and carry out the procedure of their smoothing in order to identify long-term fluctuations and trends. The object of research is the baric regime of Antarctica. The subject of the study is the average monthly values of atmospheric pressure at Antarctic stations. The research methods are physical-statistical and climatic analysis. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the study of the dynamics of climatic indicators of atmospheric pressure based on the data of long-term observations. Practical significance of the obtained results. The statistical characteristics of atmospheric pressure series were calculated and the dynamics of circulation processes were studied, which can be used in solving many applied problems, as well as in the development of physical and statistical models of long-term weather forecasts for the South Polar region.
