dc.description.abstractThis paper examines the theoretical foundations and practical applications of the integrated skills approach in language teaching. Rather than treating the four language skills – reading, writing, listening, and speaking – as separate domains, this approach acknowledges their interconnected nature in authentic communication contexts. Language teaching methodologies have evolved significantly over the past century, moving from grammar-translation methods to more communicative approaches. Within this evolution, one of the most significant developments has been the recognition that language skills function not in isolation but as integrated components of successful communication.en
