dc.description.abstract | Microorganisms play an essential role in marine ecosystems. Different global metagenomics investigations held in the open Ocean and coastal waters helped to estimate prokaryotic microorganisms distribution, their taxonomic diversity and role in biogeochemical processes. For deeper understanding of the processes, occurring in marine ecosystem, it is important to know more about biological diversity of prokaryotic populations that inhabit these waters. | uk |
