dc.description.abstractМотив двойничества в рассказе японского писателя Э. Рампо рассмотрен на нескольких уровнях. Во-первых, с точки зрения его места в развитии детективной линии сюжета: преступник занял место убитого им брата. Во-вторых, с точки зрения его места в анализе психического состояния героя, который смотрит на свой поступок глазами человека с пробудившейся совестью. Наконец, идет речь о мифопоэтическом подтексте этого мотива в произведении, о борьбе в душе героя-убийцы «белого» и «черного» двойников. При этом «черное» в себе он определяет как демоническое. Изучение мотива двойничества в рассказе «Близнецы» помогает сделать выводы об особенности художественной манеры японского писателя Эдогавы Рампо, о следовании им как традициям японской литературы, так и усвоении им опыта писателей Европы.uk
dc.description.abstractThis article deals with the motive analysis of the story by Japanese writer E. Rampo "The twins". The aim of the paper is to study motive of duality in it’s connection with the poetics of the story, to investigate semantics and functions of duality. Motive of duality is reviewed at several levels. Firstly, it’s place in the development of the detective story lines was examined: the offender took the place of the murdered by him his brother, but later he repented and confessed. Secondly, motive of duality was examined from the point of view of its place in the analysis of the mental state of the hero who looks at his crime through the eyes of “another” person: the person which convicts itself and tries to die with a clear conscience. Finally, it is connected with the mythopoetic implications in the story and helps to discover psychological state of the hero: there are two counterparts in the soul of the hero-killer - "white" and "black". "Black" he defines as demonic. The study of motive of duality helps to make conclusions about Rampo’s particular artistic manner and the proximity of his story, on the one hand, to traditional Japanese literature genre Kaidan (tales about the terrible), and, on the other, to European literature, particularly to literary works by R. L. Stevenson. It is first article fully devoted to the investigation of E. Rampo’s story “The twins” in Russian and Ukrainian literary criticism, so it is of great help for the further studies in detective genre in Japanese literature and E. Rampo’s work.uk
