Документ A modification of gauss' method for preliminary determination of a celestial body's orbit(Одеський національний університет імені І. І. Мечникова, 2015) Baziei, Oleksandr A.A modification of classical Gauss’ method for determination of Keplerian elements from the observed positions is considered in this paper. The modification involves the exhaustive enumeration of all possible orbital plane positions in order to improve the method’s reliability. It has been shown that such an approach requires a priori information on the pattern of the celestial body's motion, particularly, whether its motion is direct or retrograde.Документ GRAVITY FIELD IN EXTERNAL PARTS OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM(Astroprint, 2012) Baziei, N. V.; Baziei, Oleksandr A.Taking into account the gravitational perturbations from the center of the galaxy and using the catalogue closest to the Sun, stars modeled surfaces of equal gravitational potential energy fields in the outskirts of the solar system. Constructed three-dimensional model of equipotential surfaces in the vicinity of the solar system. It is shown that for certain values a constant of the energy the Sun is within the common equipotential surface Toliman, Sirius and Procyon.Документ METHOD FOR CALCULATING ORBITS OF NEAR–EARTH ASTEROIDS OBSERVED WITH TELESCOPE OMT-800(Astroprint, 2014) Troianskyi, V. V.; Baziei, Oleksandr A.; Kashuba, V. I.; Zhukov, V. V.; Korzhavin, S. A.One of the frame processing techniques, as well as an example of further use of the obtained results to calculate an asteroid’s orbit are given in the present paper. The application of frame combination method to improve the telescope’s limiting magnitude is described.Документ THE CONDITIONS FOR APOPHIS 99942 APPROACHING EARTH IN 2029(Astroprint, 2010) Tokovenko, A. A.; Baziei, Oleksandr A.The discovery of Apophis 99942 asteroid in 2004 raised a number of questions in the sphere of the asteroid threatening. On April 13, 2029, the asteroid is to pass at a close distance from Earth. The study of the path of that asteroid both before and after such close approaching showed that the repeated passing by Earth and even its collision with Earth is possible in April, 2036.Документ THE SIMULATION OF THE ORBITAL EVOLUTION OF A PASSIVE HIGH-ORBIT FRAGMENT WITH LARGE SURFACE AREA(Astroprint, 2014) Baziei, Oleksandr A.The numerical integration of the motion equations of a passive high-orbit fragment with large surface area was performed accounting for the main gravitational perturbations of the Earth, Moon and Sun, as well as the solar radiation pressure. Based on the numerical model of motion in the near-Earth space that accounts for only the most powerful perturbations, a new method for deorbiting artificial celestial bodies from high altitudes is suggested.Документ THE SOLAR-RADIATION PRESSURE EFFECTS ON THE ORBITAL EVOLUTION OF ASTEROID MOONS(Astroprint, 2015) Troianskyi, V. V.; Baziei, Oleksandr A.In the theory of motion, disturbances are divided into gravitational and non-gravitational ones. In this paper, we discuss the effects of solar-radiation pressure on the orbital evolution of asteroid moons. It is known from the laws of physics that the smaller an object is the more pressure is exerted on it by solar radiation. That is the reason why asteroid moons with their small sizes are exposed to the solar-radiation pressure so much.
