Анотація
The development of aquaculture in Ukraine is impossible without the modernization of hydrotechnical structures that ensure water regulation, supply, and treatment in pond, liman, and recirculating systems. Most hydraulic facilities were constructed more than 30–40 years ago and are now characterized by physical deterioration, inefficient water use, energy losses, and increased anthropogenic pressure. Consequently, the modernization of hydrotechnical infrastructure has become not only a technical necessity but also an economically beneficial direction for the development of the sector.
The goal of investment policy in this field is to ensure sustainable water use, reduce energy consumption, and increase the fish productivity of aquatic systems. Modernization involves the renovation of water intake, aeration, and fish protection systems, the introduction of biofiltration technologies, automated control of water regimes, and the use of renewable energy sources.
