Документ Electrochemical Deposition and Investigation of Poly-9,10-Phenanthrenequinone Layer(2019) Genys, Povilas; Aksun, Elif; Tereshchenko, Alla V.; Valiuniene, Aušra; Ramanaviciene, Almira; Ramanavicius, Arunas; Терещенко, Алла ВолодимирівнаIn this research, a 9,10-phenanthrenequinone (PQ) was electrochemically polymerized on a graphite rod electrode using potential cycling. The electrodemodified by poly-9,10-phenanthrenequinone (poly-PQ) was studied by means of cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The poly-PQ shows variations in growth pattern depending on the number of potential cycles for the initiation of polymerization. Formed poly-PQ layer demonstrates good electric conductivity, great degree of electrochemical capacitance and unique oxidation/reduction properties, which are suitable for broad technological applications, including applicability in biosensors, supercapacitors and in some other electrochemical systems.Документ Tuning the Photo-Luminescence Properties of WO3 Layers by the Adjustment of Layer Formation Conditions(2020) Petruleviciene, Milda; Juodkazyte, Jurga; Parvin, Maliha; Tereshchenko, Alla V.; Ramanavicius, Simonas; Karpicz, Renata; Samukaite-Bubniene, Urte; Ramanavicius, Arunas; Терещенко, Алла Володимирівна; Терещенко, Алла ВладимировнаIn this research we have applied sol-gel synthesis for the deposition of tungsten (VI) oxide (WO3) layers using two di erent reductants (ethanol and propanol) and applying di erent dipping times. WO3 samples were characterized by X-ray di raction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), photoluminescence (PL) and time-resolved photoluminescence decay methods. Photoelectrochemical (PEC) behaviour of synthesized coatings was investigated using cyclic voltammetry in the dark and under illumination. Formation of di erent structures in di erently prepared samples was revealed and significant di erences in the PL spectra and PEC performance of the samples were observed. The results showed that reductant used in the synthesis and dipping time strongly influenced photo-electrochemical properties of the coatings. Correlation between the morphology, PL and PEC behaviour has been explained.
