The problem of crown gall is actual also in Ukraine, especially for grape-growing. The causative agents are pathogenic rhizobia. The disease results in decrease of productivity, frost and drought resistance and often causes plant death. Search for effective struggle remedies against pathogenic rhizobia is a perspective trend of biocontrol.
