Документ BACTERIOPLANKTON OF WATER-BODIES IN THE LOWER DNISTER BASIN(Печатний дом, 2011) Medinets, S.; Kovalova, N.Bacterioplankton is among the most important components of aquatic ecosystems as organic matter microbiological transformation is one of the main self-purification and natural water quality formation processes. Regional Centre for Integrated Monitoring and Ecological Studies, Odessa National I. I. Mechnikov University, has been carrying out field surveys in the Lower Dnister basin since 2003. One of activities during surveys is observation of bacterioplankton spatial distribution and seasonal dynamics of its number and biomass in all main water-bodies in the area: Kuchurganskiy Liman (estuary), Rivers Dnister and Turunchuk, lakes Beloye, Svinoye and Tudorovo, as well as the Dnistrovskiy Liman (estuary). Besides, there are three points monitoring of the Dnister and Turunchuk Rivers where observations of bacterioplankton quantitative characteristics are carried out all year round.Документ SOIL GHG (N2O/CH4) EMISSIONS IN THE FERTILISED ARABLE LAND(Печатний дом, 2011) Medinets, S.; Skiba, U.; Kotogura, S.; Medinets, V. I.; Drewer, J.; Pitsyk, Vasyl Z.; Пицык, Василий Зиновьевич; Піцик, Василь ЗіновійовичSoil/atmosphere fluxes of N20 and CH4 were monitored for a 16 months period at the arable site "Petrodolinskoye", located on southern Chernozem black soil, using three SIGMA (System for Inert Gas Monitoring by Accumulation) autochambers - lowcost techniques for sampling cumulative gases over long time periods. These systems were constructed for the NitroEurope IP (017841) purposes. Chambers (0.3*1.5 m2) were located 71 m equidistantly in the centre of a 30 ha field. Fluxes were measured 3 times per day by collecting gas samples into FlexFoil bags.Документ Study of role of nitrogen use efficiency for restoration of arable land area(2011) Medinets, S.; Medinets, V. С.; Пицык, Василий Зиновьевич; Резвая, СветланаThis study shows an estimation of Nitrogen (N) budget and N use efficiency in arable land area, located on typical Chernozem soils in Southern Ukraine. These Chernozem black soils (CH vec) have been farmed for more than 200 years and in many years between 85-90 % of these soils are ploughed. Crop rotation with fertilisation (2007 - 2010) and irrigation (2007 - 2008) was used on investigated area.
