Characterristics of the clusteromes of Bacillus spp. isolated from deep sea sediments of the Blasc Sea

A study of the biological diversity and biosynthetic potential of aerobic endosporeforming bacteria, isolated from the deep-water sediments of Black Sea. Were identified 8 species among 12 sequenced strains. Some strains demonstrate traits of new species. Biosynthetic potential of revealed strains demonstrate genus and species level correlations. There were found many biosynthetic gene clusters of unidentified peptides, which makes given strains a good option for biotechnological research.
