The study of political leadership in politics mainly conducted within political psychology, which focuses on the characteristics of the personality of the leader, his followers and the characteristics of the relationship of political leaders and their followers. Ukraine at this stage of its development is in a state of "transition" to democracy, and during this period the political system requires the formation of effective political institutions.
