Дослідження заголовків романів „Рекреації” та „Московіада” дозволяє зробити висновок, що їхня специфіка пов’язана з постмодерністським методом сприйняття дійсності: карнавальність та використання елементів мовної гри сприяють іронічному звучанню назв творів,формуючи при цьому відповідне ставлення до подальшого тексту.В статье на языковом материале двух постмодернистских произведений продемонстрирован сложный характер ассоциативных связей, существующих между заголовком и текстом. Показано, как семантика и образный потенциал заголовка предопределяют отбор лексики определенного типа. Исследование заголовков романов „Рекреации” и „Московиада” позволяет сделать вывод, что их специфика связана с постмодернистским методом восприятия действительности: карнавальность и использование элементов языковой игры способствуют ироничному звучанию названий произведений, формируя при этом соответствующее отношение к дальнейшему тексту.The analysis of the titles of two novels by Andrukhovych is presented in the article. The object of the research is the organization of the artistic structure of the novels under analysis. The subject is the realization of connections between a title and a text in a postmodern piece of work. The specificity of such connections in the postmodern discourse hasn’t yet been the subject of a special research. That’s why studying this aspect of the problem in Andrukhovych’s novels is up to date for modern linguistics. The aim of the research is to define how specific features of the postmodern discourse are realized in title constructions and how they influence the selection of the lexical material. Descriptive and stylistic methods are used to meet the objective. Onomastic studies by Yu. Karpenko became the methodological basis of the article. The results of the research have theoretic and practical meaning for future linguistic and literary analysis of the postmodern discourse. Studying the titles of the novels by Andrukhovych lets us come to the conclusion that its specificity is connected with a postmodern method of perceiving the reality when carnivality and the use of language game lead to ironic sounding of the titles of the pieces of work forming the corresponding perception of further text. Adding to the conclusions made by Yu.
