The researchers point out, first of all, to the change in the status of the educational discipline «foreign language» from the point of view of its cultural function, since language is not only «a source of communicative activity, but also a means of cognition, formation and transmission of thought, expression of feelings, emotional states of a person, a means of realizing all needs educated people» [4, p 293].
