Мапа показує Monchastro Castle - топонімічний синонім середньовічного Білгорода на Дністру. Ця дата стала відома в історіографії як час появи Бєлгород-Дністровської фортеці (цитаделі). Але це знайомствао неправильне. Найбільш вірогідна дата створення карти це 1452 березня. Карта не є джерелом для визначення часу будівництва Білгородської фортеці. Зображення помилково розміщенно на Дунаї і не відображає справжній образ фортеці в середині 15 століття.In 1979 the Romanian philologist I. Dumitru-Snagov published his version of dating of the Balkans map from the Codex Latinus Parisinus 7239. This date was 1396. The map shows Monchastro Castle – toponymic synonym of medieval Belgorod on the Dniester. This date became known in the historiography as the time of appearance of the Belgorod-Dniester fortress (citadel). But this dating is wrong. The most likely date of the creation of the map is March 1452. The map is not a source for determining the time of construction of the Belgorod fortress citadel.
