It was shown that even a slight ultrasonic treatment significantly increases the initial rate of copolymerization and the temperature coefficient of reaction. Polyglycolmaleinatephthalates modified with a number of amines, acetates and acetylacetonates of transition metals were investigated, the kinetic characteristics of their copolymerization with methylmethacrylate in a 1:1 ratio were determined.
