Antagonistic bacteria - also plant dwellers - were used to struggle these pathogens. Lactobacillus plantarum effectively inhibited crown gall agents and survived in soil at least for 45 days. Lactobacilli could interfere pathogenesis of the disease on a step of pathogen attachment.
