Описаны особенности функционирования языковых средств, которые выполняют функцию речевого страхования и корректно выражают мнение рецензента.This article deals with hedging as one of communication strategies used in the genre of scientific review. The study is based on reviews in Ukrainian language made by distinguished linguists – A. I. Bagmut, A. I. Bondar' and Yu. A. Karpenko.
