Серія Філологія. - 2014.The article focuses on the problem of the origin of the Sumerians and the linguistic affinity of their language. Departing ourselves from the cultural closeness of the Sumarians and the Trypillia people as well as the fact of the much higherantiquity (of more than a thousand years) of the latter we suppose the possible migration of the Sumerians onto to the region of Trypillia before the arrival there of the Aryans in the fourth millennium BC. The etymological analysis of the words: Sum. lu ‘man’, lugal ʻking’, the names of the dialects eme-gi7(r) ‘the king’s language’ and eme-sal ‘the women’s language’, Sum. dub-sar ‘clerk’, geonyms Sum. An, Enki, Enlil, Inanna and related to them Arian correspondences, proves our hypothesis about the neighbouring habitation of Sumerians and Arians in Middle East before their settling down in Trypillia.ukSumerthe Sumeriansthe AryansTrypillian cultureШумери й Трипілля.The Sumerians and Trypillia.Article
