During their evolutionary development, they were able to adapt to highly variable abiotic conditions in their habitats, thanks to which they spread throughout the world1. Due to physiological hematophagy, blood-sucking mosquitoes have vector competence for many pathogens (arboviruses, protists, helminths, etc.), due to which they pose a significant threat to public health. In recent decades, the world has faced an urgent problem of the emergence of known outbreaks and the emergence of new infectious and parasitic diseases, the vectors of which are blood-sucking mosquitoes. The processes of globalization and climate change create new ecological spaces, the conditions of which fit into a wide range of ecological plasticity of some tropical mosquito species.
