The study explores how metaphors are used to understand and influence political phenomena, their impact on public perception, and their role in shaping political worldviews. By analysing various conceptual metaphor fields identified by prominent linguists, this research aims to uncover common patterns of metaphorization across different linguistic and cultural contexts. The study highlights the pragmatic potential of metaphors in political speeches and media texts, emphasising their ability to evoke emotions and influence public opinion.
