Розглянуто вплив технологічного прогресу та стрімкого розвитку платформної економіки. Досліджуються соціальні зміни, зумовлені технологічним прогресом (Четвертою промисловою революцією), та їх вплив на інститут соціальної держави. Аналізується вплив роботизації, штучного інтелекту на зайнятість населення (очікуване зростання безробіття). Констатована необхідність переосмислення змісту та форми соціальної держави з огляду на глобальні зміни останніх десятиліть. Підкреслено, що ці зміни, зокрема, спричинені цифровізацією, впровадженням штучного інтелекту, зростанням незахищеності працівників, залучених до нестандартних форм зайнятості та не охоплених соціальним страхуванням.The factors influencing the modernization of modern models of the welfare state are investigated. The influence of technological progress and rapid development of the platform economy is considered.The so cial changes caused by technological progress (the Fourth Industrial Revolution) and their impact on the institution of the welfare state are studied. The influence of robotization, the growing role of artificial intelligence on employment (expected growth of unemployment) is analyzed. The need to redefine the content and form of the welfare state in view of the global changes of recent decades has been stated.
