dc.description.abstractThe grammatical tenses constitute the forms used to express temporal relations. The tenses differ in various languages, they can specify whether an action, an activity, a condition refer to the past, present or future. The tenses can also express the completeness or incompleteness of the action, its duration and length. Time-distinctions find their expression in verb-forms. English grammatical terminology has a special word tense to indicate time at which an action or state is viewed as happening or existing. The speaker's subjective use of distinctions of time drawn in accordance with the conventions of the language is naturally primary in importance.uk_UA
