Коллективное безумие, или с ума сходят не в одиночку

Abstract

Данный текст представляет собой попытку зафиксировать поток сознания человека, неожиданно ощутившего себя чужым в механистически устроенном социальном сообществе. Автор выявляет ряд подобных случаев в области поэтического и философского творчества. Ключевая проблема текста: возможно ли провести четкую границу между шизофренией (или расстройством мышления) и философско-поэтическим творчеством.

Цей текст являє собою спробу зафіксувати потік свідомості людини, яка несподівано відчула себе чужою у механістично упорядженому соціальному співтоваристві. Автор виявляє ряд подібних випадків в області поетичної і філософської творчості. Ключова проблема тексту: чи можливо провести чітку межу між шизофренією (або розладом мислення) і філософсько-поетичною творчістю.

This text represents an attempt to capture a stream of consciousness of the person who suddenly felt as a stranger in a mechanically arranged social community. The main feature of this consciousness is sharp, often unpredictable despondency and not less sharp, also unpredictable spiritual rises. It can be characterized as bipolar disorder, or manic-depressive psychosis. However, this state both in case of despondency and in case of spiritual rise can be the basis for creative activity. The perceived reality appears real as if it is seen for the first time. The author reveals a number of similar cases mainly in the field of poetry and philosophy, such as: Tsvetaeva, Pasternak, Mandelstam, Andrei Bely, Nietzsche and others. For the most part their works and life aren’t understood and aren’t accepted by society and can be considered as madness. However, in terms of creative consciousness, life of mechanistically arranged society, especially in realities of the technogenetic civilization can also be considered as collective madness. The key problem of the text is: who is mad and whether it is possible to make a clear distinction between schizophrenia (or disorder of thinking) and philosophical and poetic creativity
