Анотація
Статья посвящена собранию туристических путеводителей, принадлежавших графу А. Г. Строганову, которое наглядно иллюстрирует процесс развития путеводителей как нового типа издания и литературного жанра. Вместе с тем туристические справочники являются не только источниками по истории европейского общества XVIII-XIX вв., но и позволяют установить некоторые сведения биографии А. Г. Строганова.
Стаття присвячена зібранню туристичних путівників, які належали графу О. Г. Строганову. Невелика колекція туристичних довідників наочно ілюструє розвиток путівників як типу видання та літературного жанру. Разом з тим колекція цих видань не тільки є джерелом з історії європейського суспільства XVIII-XIX ст., але й дозволяє встановити деякі відомості з біографії О. Г. Строганова.
The subject of the study is a set of travel guide-books and handbooks from Aleksandr Grigorievich Stroganov private book collection. The purpose of publication is studying of Aleksandr Grigorievich Stroganov private book collection from the Scientific Library of Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University as a complete book collection that gives important information about its owner. The intensive development of tourism in the end of 18th — early 19th centuries gave rise to a new literary genre and a new type of edition — a travel guide-book. Travel guide¬books combining features of itineraries and short road-books became multipurpose pocket encyclopedias that contained necessary information and much useful advice for travelers. The set of travel guide-books from the private collection of count Stroganov also carries valuable information about its owner and European countries visited by Aleksandr Grigorievich during his travelling. His numerous notes on pages eloquently testify that all of travel guide-books were used as intended. Travel guide-books are interesting for modern researchers, because of the information about the culture, economics and ethnography, a road system, a development of tourism infrastructure etc. In addition these publications let to understand the way of formation of the new business branch — the tourism and its specificity. In practical way, the information presented in this article may be used for bibliographic works and educational training for students. The outlook for the future studying of this part of private collection of count Aleksandr Grigorievich Stroganov is concerned with such groups of this literary genre as travel guide¬books of large European cities, health resorts and road-books. Thus, studied set of editions carry special information and fully deserves detailed research.
