Abstract: | In this presentation we will concentrate on the role that death-related customs play on prose literature. At this point we should stress that we shall not study this role with regard to all Greek literature, but we will limit ourselves in a single piece of work, the short story: “Young Man’s Death” which seems to serve as an example regarding the analysis of our topic. |
