Conceptualization of trafficking in human beings as a global problem

Abstract

The growing scale of the problem of human trafficking in the late twentieth - early twenty-first century. Although the study of combating trafficking in human beings, given its importance in the regional and global dimensions, is of considerable interest to scholars, the conceptual analysis of international policy frameworks and institutional mechanisms to combat the problem has not yet become the focus of political discourse. Scientists are mostly interested in certain aspects of the problem. In domestic scientific opinion, the problem of combating trafficking in human beings is mostly considered through the prism of criminal law and criminology. Therefore, the study of conceptual principles and institutional mechanisms to combat the global problem of human trafficking is an important area for political science.
