The 73 species of Foraminifera are found in Pleistocene deposits of Eltigen section. Myeralla, Tobetchik, Eltigen and Geroevskoye fo ratniniferal a ssem b lag es are erected. Tlie first a ssem b lag e include th e one fyaclcisliwater species, second - liman and marine species, third Mediterranean spesies not known in Black Sea and fourth consist only of Azov Sea foraminifera. The Karangat Horizon is subdivided on the three subhorizons. In course of transglesiion the salinity rise from 0.02 to 28—30%o. The salinity increasing is evidence of the connection wiih Mediterranean Sea. its decreasing - isolation and final stage of glaciation.
