Abstract: Nanostructured compositions containing magnetite were obtained by welding o f steel using a bare welding wire o f Sv08G2S (ER70S-6) type in CO? as a shielding gas. The wire had the following composition (wt. %): Fe (97.2), Mn (1.51), Si (0.92), Cu (0.2), and С (0.08). With the help o f an electromechanical filter, three fractions o f the solid component o f welding aerosol were obtained.
