Анотація
Cet article est consacré а l’étude de l’œuvre de Victor Hugo, grand poète, dramaturge, romancier, essayiste et activiste social. L’auteur se propose de montrer comment les principes sociaux et moraux de l’écrivain ont été mis en action dans sa prose. V. Hugo fait appel а la conscience, plaide pour la miséricorde, dénonçe la cruauté, pleure sur les victimes de l’injustice sociale et rêve d’un avenir meilleur. L’l’étude du roman épique de Victor Hugo «Les Misérables» présente un grand intérêt du point de vue de comparaison de ses protagonistes avec des personnages évangéliques bien connus. L’auteur fait une tentative originale de retracer des liens entre tels personnages que Jean Valjean, Fantine, Javert, Thénardier, l’évêque Miriel et des personnages bibliques. Dans la conclusion l’auteutr souligne que les images, thèmes et motifs évangeliques impregnent le monde d’art de la culture européenne. Or, pour trouver son chemin dans ce monde, comprendre les tendences de son développement il faut étudier profondément les heros evangeliques.
Стаття присвячена аналiзу творчостi В. Гюго, видатного поета, драматурга, романiста та суспiльного дiяча. В роботi дослiджуються соцiально-моральнi орiєнтири письменника, якi було втiлено в його творах. В. Гюго звертається до совiстi, молить про милосердя, засуджує жорстокiсть, ридає над жертвами та на сторiнках своїх творiв мрiє про краще майбутнє людства. Значний iнтерес представляє дослiдження роману-епопеї «Знедоленi» з точки зору спiввiдношення найбільш яскравих образiв роману-епопеї з вiдомими євангелiчними персонажами. При даному зiставленнi розкриваються особливим чином герої всесвiтньо вiдомого роману-епопеї. Простежуються аналогiї образiв Жана Вальжана, Фантiни, Жавера, Тенардьє, єпископа Мiрiеля з бiблiйними персонажами. Такi теми як злочин та покарання, грiх та каяття, духовне перерождення — для письменника були надзвичайно важливими. Вони були втiленi в таких творах майстра як: «Клод Ге», «Один день засудженного до страти» тощо.
This article deals with analysis of creative work of Victor Hugo, an outstanding poet, playwright, novelist and public figure. It investigates the writer’s social and moral principles reflected in his works. V. Hugo appeals to conscience, condemns cruelty and callousness, cries over victims on the pages of his books, dreams about brighter future for humanity. Scientific research of the novel «Les Misérables» by V. Hugo from the point of view of comparison of the most outstanding characters of the epic novel with the well - known Evangelical ones is of a special interest.Such comparison gives quite a different treatment of these widely known images. Analogy of such characters as Jean Valjean, Fantine, Javert, Bishop Miriel, Thenardier with the Biblical ones are being analysed. In the end the conclusion is made that Evangelical images, plots and motives pervade the art world of European culture. To orient in this world, to understand its development tendencies and to become competent in the creative work of great authors it is necessary to carry out a profound research of Evangelic characters.
