Анотація
У статті висвітлено історію формування архівного фонду Наукової бібліотеки.
Розглянуто основні теоретичні та методичні напрацювання з роботи над архівними документами. Описано основні етапи архівного опису та технічного опрацювання документів особового походження. Визначено перспективи розвитку архівного фонду університетської бібліотеки.
В статье раскрыта история формирования архивного фонда Научной библиотеки. Представлены основные теоретические и методические разработки по работе с документами личного происхождения. Описаны основные этапы научного описания и технической обработки архивных документов. Определены перспективы развития архивного фонда университетской библиотеки.
The article describes the history of the formation of the archive library of the Scientific Library of the Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University. The practice of streamlining the documentary complex and the formation of personal archives funds in the Scientific Library appeared relatively recent and represents a new direction of the institution’s activities. Over the past decade, the staff of the Department of Rare Books and Manuscripts of the Scientific Library of the Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University successfully mastered the peculiarities of working with archival documents, developed a methodology for organizing personal archives, their accounting, ensured the preservation and use of the archival fund by users, received practical results, aimed at improving archival work in the Scientific Library. Involvement in the scientific circulation of information of personal archives that are stored in the Scientific Library of the Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University is relevant because it enables the modern researchers of the history of Science of Ukraine to study deeply and comprehensively the history of the formation and activity of the Odessa scientific and educational institutions, to determine basic scientific researches and researches of teaching University, their creative international connections, to reconstruct or supplement scientific biographies of prominent scientists of our city.
В статье раскрыта история формирования архивного фонда Научной библиотеки. Представлены основные теоретические и методические разработки по работе с документами личного происхождения. Описаны основные этапы научного описания и технической обработки архивных документов. Определены перспективы развития архивного фонда университетской библиотеки.
The article describes the history of the formation of the archive library of the Scientific Library of the Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University.
