Анотація
У Науковій бібліотеці Одеського університету роботу над вивченням рідкісних італійських книжок розпочали не випадково. Саме Італія була колискою пркрасної епохи Відродження, а одним з величезних її здобутків було розповсюдження високомайстерного друкарства.
Коли йдеться про італійську книгу епохи Відродження, згадують перш за все великих письменників - Данте, Петрарку, Бокаччо, славетних митців - Мікельанджело, Рафаеля, Леонардо да Вінчі. Разом з тим всі знавці та цінителі книг поважають імена великих науковців, відомих, призабутих і маловідомих книговидавців, більшість з яких були видатними майстрами своєї справи.
Визначне місце серед старовинних книжок займають юридичні пам’ятки: конституції, статути, накази, постанови, за якими жили люди італійських міст- держав. Більшість книжок цього періоду писані латинською мовою - тогочасною міжнародною мовою науки.
Матеріал в основному покажчику розташовано за схемою міжнародної Універсальної десяткової класифікації (УДК). Наприклад, у відповідності до цієї класифікації, література, що відноситься до сфери етики, систематизована в розділі 1, а описи подорожей - в розділі 9.1 тощо. У межах зазначених розділів книги впорядковані згідно з прямою хронологією років видань. У деяких конволютах містяться тексти, точну дату видання яких встановити без спеціального дослід-ження неможливо. Ці тексти розміщено поряд з датованими текстами цього ж конволюту. Видання , приблизну дату яких не можна встановити і в такий спосіб, розміщені в кінці тематичного розділу. До опису кожної книги додається переклад назви українською мовою. Більшість книжок має короткі анотації, що розкривають їх зміст та подають деякі відомості про авторів.
Для зручності користування додано допоміжні покажчики - іменний, видавців, міст і областей Італії, чиї законодавчі документи зареєстровано в покажчику.
Nella Biblioteca scientifica deir Universita Nazionale di Odessa e iniziato il lavoro di studio sui libri antichi italiani. Proprio I’ltalia era la culla dell’epoca bellissima del Rinascimento, e uno dei suoi piu grand! avvenimenti cultural! e stata la diffusione deireditona di alta qualita. , . . Quando si parla della stampa del libro del Rinascimento, si ricordano prima i testi dei grand! scrittori - Dante, Petrarca, Bocaccio e dei celebri artist! - Michelangelo, Raffaello, Leonadro da Vinci. Insieme a tutti gli studios! di libri antichi ricordano il valore di grandi studios!, di editor! noti, dimenticati e росо conosciuti; la maggior parte dei quali erano grandi maestri. La gran parte dei libri antichi e presente nei monument! giuridici dell epoca comunale: costituzioni, statuti, ordini, disposizioni, secondo і quali vivevano gli abitanti delle citta italiane. La maggioranza dei libri di quel periodo fu scritta in latino - la lingua internazionale della cultura di quell’epoca. Il materiale della presente edizione e sistemato secondo lo schema della Classiftcazione Decimale Universale Internazionale. Per esempio, secondo la detta classittcazione, la letteratura che riguarda I’etica si trova nel capitolo 1 e le descrizioni dei viaggi nel capitolo 9. L, ecc. Nella cornice dei capitoli indicati і libri sono ordinati secondo la cronologia diretta degli anni d’edizione. In alcune raccolte si trovano testi dei quali e impossibile fissare senza studi special! la data precisa della pubblicazione. Detti testi si trovano insieme a testi datati della stessa raccolta. Alla fin del capitolo tematico si trovano le edizioni di cui e imposstbile indicare la data esatta di pubblicazione. Alla descrizione di ogni libro viene allegata la traduzione del nome in ucraino. La maggioranza dei libri ha delle brevi annotazioni, le quali chiariscono il loro contenuto e danno alcuni notizie sugli autori. Per comodita d’uso si allegano gli indki supplementari dei nomi, degli editori, delle citta e region! italiane і document! di esse quali registrati nella presente edizione. Consideriamo la nostra pubblicazione come uno dei primi pass! nel portare alia luce lo studio dei fondi degli antichi libri della Biblioteca Scientifica deirUniversita Nazionale di Odessa. L’edizione include la descrizione annotata dei libri antichi del Museo del libro della Biblioteca Scientifica, dei suoi settori 154,155,167, dei vari esempi dei fondi personal!, e di altri settori. Speriamo che la conoscenza del presente indice sia materiale importante per gli studiosi, per gli student!, per і bibliotecari. L’indice e destinato agli storici, ai giuristi, ai conoscitori dei libri e per tutti coloro che sono interessati alia storia della cultura mondiale.
The Scientific Library of Odessa National University has started on studying rare Italian books of Renaissance conserved in its funds, the spread of printing being one of the greatest achievements of that epoch. While speaking about Italian Renaissance books, one remembers first of all the names of eminent writers (Dante, Petrarca, Boccacio) and great painters such as Michelangelo, Rafael, Leonardo da Vinci. However, the connoisseurs and experts of books appreciate the contribution of outstanding scientists of the epoch as well as more or less famous printers (or even those forgotten by now) who were real masters of their art. Legal medieval texts such as constitutions, statutes, orders, regulations predominate over the publications of the XV-XVIIth centuries presented in the Index. Most of them are written in Latin which used to be international language of science of that epoch. The material on offer in the Index is organised in the way defined by the International Universal Decimal Classification Scheme. According to it, the works on ethics, for example, are represented in section 1, while travels are included in section 9.1 etc. In the frames of each thematic sections the books are ranged according to the chronological order. Some compound books (convolutes) contain texts without dates of publication. These texts are located next to the dated documents of the same compound book. When no approximate date of publication or printing can be given, the text is set at the end of the corresponding section. Each description is provided with a Ukrainian version of the title. Where appropriate short comments on authors and the contents of their works are available. For the sake of convenience the edition contains some additional indexes, namely an alphabetical index and that one of printers as well as a list of the cities, towns and other Italian political entities which were administered by the mentioned legal documents. We consider our edition to be a first step while further exploring of rare books funds of the Scientific Library of Odessa National University. The edition comprises commented descriptions of ancient books conserved in the Library Museum as well as in the sections 154,155,167 and some specimens from personal collections of the Library. The work on systematically scientific description of the mentioned units has not but started on and is to be continued. We hope that our Index can be useful to the specialists and students providing them with valuable sources for their research work. It is destined for the use of historians, lawyers, specialists of the history of books and all those interested in the world culture history.
