O.; Semenets, Anastasiia S.С-di-GMP controls the switch between motile and sessile lifestyles: high cellular levels of c-di-GMP promote exopolysaccharides production and surface adhesion, leading to biofilm formation; on the other hand, low c-di-GMP levels result in flagellar gene-expression and increased cellular motility (RÖmling et al., 2013). Antimicrobial therapy has played a crucial role in the treatment of infectious diseases in humans in XX century, as the use of antibiotics significantly reduced mortality from infection.Документ Sensitivity to ciprofloxacin of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains with different levels of C-DI-GMP biosynthesis(Odessa I. I. Mechnikova National University, 2017) Semenets, Anastasiia S.; Lisova, O. O.; Filipova, Tetiana O.It was investigated the antibiotics sensitivity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains with different levels of c-di-GMP biosynthesis: PA01 Δ 100 wspF1 (increased biosynthesis level) and PA01 pJN2133 (low level of biosynthesis) in comparison with the collection P. aeruginosa strains: РА01 and ATСС 27853. Not established significant differences between the strains sensitivity to ciprofloxacin. It is shown that the minimum concentration of ciprofloxacin that inhibit biofilm formation is significantly lower than minimum inhibitory concentrations of P. aeruginosa growth. It is established that subinhibitory concentrations of ciprofloxacin violates the biofilms morphology.
